Oval shaped case.

It means "ellipse" in English. Its etymology is the Latin word "ovum" which means "egg". It is heavily used for dress series ladies' watches.
There are also variations such as cushion oval and double oval.


英語で「楕円」を意味する。語源は、「卵」を意味するラテン語「ovum」。ドレス系のレディスウオッチに多用される。
派生形として、クッションオーバルやダブルオーバルなどもある。

Water resistant.

Even waterproof watches should not be excessively exposed to the threat of water. K18の場合、金が750‰、残りが銀と銅が等量のものをイエローゴールドと言う。一般的に認知されている金色に近いが、純金に比べて黄色が強い。 K24は色が綺麗で変色しにくいが、強度が弱く、高価である。それに対して、K18は強度があり、純金よりは安価であるため、凝ったデザインにすることができる。
