Accuracy of the watch.

In general, quartz watches are more accurate than mechanical watches. However delay or advance of the watch may occur under the influence of the external environment and usage situation because the machine of the watch is minute. This accuracy of the watch is expressed by daily rate, monthly rate, and annual rate. External environment is temperature, magnetism, shock and etc. Usage situation is attitude, mobile time, wound amount of mainspring and etc.


一般的には、機械式時計よりもクオーツ時計のほうが精度が高い。しかし、時計の機械は微細であるがために、外部環境や使用状況の影響を受け、時計の遅れや進みが生じる。この時計の精度は、日差・月差・年差であらわす。外部環境とは温度・磁気・衝撃など、使用状況とは姿勢・携帯時間・ぜんまいの巻き上げ量などである。
