Rétrograde.

It is called "retrograde" in English. It means "reverse" in French. It is not a rotational motion like normal hands of the watch. The hands of the watch begin to move from the start point, and it returns to the start point again when it reaches the end point. This mechanism is often used for calendar, second hand.


英語ではレトログレード。フランス語で逆行を意味する。時計の針が、回転運動ではなく、始点から動き始め、終点に達すると再び始点に戻る反復運動をする。カレンダー、秒針などに使われることが多い。
