Even when you removing the watch, you keep it in a place not affected by magnetism. When you placed the watch on a TV, a refrigerator, other audio, etc., it gets magnetized. If you keep the watch more than 10cm from the magnetic product, it will be almost unaffected.
You also need attention to moisture and camphor, when you put away in a case.

時計を外して保管するときも、磁気の影響を受けない場所に保管するようにする。テレビや、冷蔵庫、そのほか、オーディオなどの上に置くと、磁気を帯びてしまう。磁気製品より10cm以上離しておけば、ほとんど影響を受けなくなる。
また、ケースなどにしまう場合には、湿気や樟脳などに注意が必要である。

If you wash your hands directly from the faucet, watering the watch causes waterproof failure because tap water has high water pressure. The watch is sometimes cloudy due to the temperature difference between the outside air and the inside of the watch.
