Beginning of production of Japanese watches.

Seikosha(SEIKO) in 1886 and Shokosha(CITIZEN) in 1918 started manufacturing pocket watches respectively. And the Osaka Watch Manufacturer(Ishihara watch shop) in 1889 made the watch 14-inch for the first time in Japan. After that, Seikosha in 1925 succeeded in making 9-inch wristwatches.
In the Showa era, production of wristwatches began at Yoshida watch shop(Orient) and Takano Precision(Ricoh), too.
