Satellite radio-controlled watch.

In 2011 Citizen launched the first satellite radio-controlled watch(GPS watch) of the world using an artificial satellite. Seiko, Casio and other watchmakers followed up them.
Satellite radio-controlled watch is different from radio-controlled watch, acquires position and time information from GPS satellite, and automatically corrects time and calendar. It is up-to-date and the most advanced watch.
Currently, even Elgin releases GPS watch.


2011年にシチズンが世界初の人工衛星を使った衛星電波時計(GPS腕時計)を発売した。その後、セイコー、カシオなどが追随した。
衛星電波時計は電波時計と違い、GPS衛星から位置・時刻情報を取得し、時刻とカレンダーを自動で修正する。最新であり、最先端の時計である。
現在では、エルジンでさえ、衛星電波時計を発売している。
