Types of Japanese clocks.

Japanese clocks are machine clocks made in Japan mainly in the Edo period. Those are clocks manufactured according to the Japanese classical Timetable Method in the calendar called the temporal hour system. And those are unique clocks in Japan.
Those include tower clocks, pillar clocks with hour scale, bedside clocks and deformation clocks.


和時計とは、江戸時代を中心に日本で作られた機械時計である。これは不定時法に合わせて製作された時計である。そして日本独特の時計であった。この種類としては、櫓時計・尺時計・枕時計・変形時計などがある。
